Atlas Copco CTS: Office redesign for industrial manufacturer

When the time came to renovate their office, the CTS division at Atlas Copco embarked on a mission to transform their workspace into an environment that would foster connection and collaboration. Their vision also included reflecting their brand identity and adding a sense of coziness to the space to improve the overall spatial experience.

Atlas Copco is a Swedish multinational company founded in 1873, serving various industries in over 180 countries. They offer industrial tools, compressors, vacuums, generators, pumps, and services to enhance customer productivity, efficiency, and sustainability, employing around 40 000 people worldwide.

The Context

One of the main challenges of the project was the build team needed to renovate the space without disturbing the division's workflow. This meant working within strict time constraints, noise restrictions, and no access outside business hours.

The goal was to preserve existing furniture and blend old and new elements seamlessly. Our designers also aimed to incorporate Atlas Copco’s brand color scheme throughout the entire area for a cohesive look.

The design had to make the entire space "speak the same language".

The Outcome

The finalized office offers a fully transformed spatial experience, with the new collaborative areas consistent with the untouched workspace and the company’s branding and colors.

The renewed workspace features a cozy coffee area for social interactions and recharging, creative hand-made artwork illustrations adorning the walls, and comfy corners that foster connection and collaboration.

‍

Despite working hour restrictions and limited access points, the project was completed on time, resulting in an overall improved spatial experience that met the team's needs and expectations.
